SU-L1056), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The objective of this consultancy is to a) develop an official high-quality guide providing reliable and up to date information about investing in and trading with Suriname that will serve as an introduction to the country and will signpost users to SITA and other GoS structures for more detailed and current information and b) to produce high level pitch decks for 4 key sectors that can be used by SITA to introduce the country to targeted audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The consulting services (&#8220;the services&#8221;) include the following:<br>Task 1: Prepare a Suriname Investment Guide<br>Task 2: Prepare a generic pitch deck for Suriname and detailed decks for 4 key Sectors<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The duration of the assignment is expected to last no more than three (3) months.<br>The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Business and International Cooperation now invites eligible consulting firms (\u201cConsultants\u201d) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Expression of Interest (EOI) does not have a specific format or template, but should include:<br>(i) a signed letter of interest from the firm to participate in the assignment,<br>(ii) proof of legal status of the firm (s)<br>(iii) profile of the firm, including evidence of the firms experience in FDI promotion, sector and or<br>business data analysis, market and risk analysis<br>(iv) A list of similar assignments executed not older than 5 years in the area of FDI -analysis and<br>promotion, business data analysis, market research and other related fields and the presentation of<br>these results in high level documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Short lists shall comprise firms with a wide geographic spread not fewer than five (5) and not more than<br>eight (8) eligible firms.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consultants will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Inter-American Development Bank: Policies for the Selection and Contracting of Consultants financed by the Inter-American Development Bank GN-2350-15 and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a sub-consultancy to enhance their qualifications.
