SU-L1056), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f6bfcbf elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f6bfcbf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The consulting services (\u201cthe Services\u201d) include the following objectives:<br \/>To support SITA in the organization and preparation of participants at international trade fairs:<br \/>&#8211; To ensure the smooth organization and participation of SITA and selected companies at two international trade fairs<br \/>&#8211; To increase exposure of SITA at these events<br \/>&#8211; To increase the effectiveness of Surinamese companies\u2019 participation with preshow marketing and contact with prospective buyers in their target markets<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d041e85 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d041e85\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The duration of these Services is expected to last for twelve (12) months to allow for adequate planning, participation and follow up planning of events.<br \/><br \/>The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Business and International Cooperation now invites eligible consulting firms (\u201cConsultants\u201d) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. Specifically, Consultants should have proven experience in providing a full range of services to participation in trade fairs, especially working in the context of a national pavilion. Consultants must demonstrate successful experience of providing comprehensive organizational and promotional support for at least 3 similar within the past five (5) years. Local expertise in Suriname to liaise directly with companies and obtain graphics and pictures would be considered an asset.<br \/><br \/>The Expression of Interest (EOI) does not have a specific format or template, but should include:<br \/><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">i. a properly signed Letter of Interest (LOI) from the firm to participate in the assignment;<\/span><br \/><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ii. profile of the firm (including evidence of the requisite expertise and skills);<\/span><br \/><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">iii. list of similar assignments executed during the last five (5) years;<\/span><br \/><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">iv. proof of legal status of the firm.<\/span><br \/><br \/><strong>Short lists shall comprise firms with a wide geographic spread not fewer than five (5) and not more than eight (8) eligible firms (GN-2350-15).<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6385308 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6385308\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Consultants will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Inter-American Development Bank: <a href=\"https:\/\/projectprocurement.iadb.org\/en\/policies\"><em>Policies for the Selection and Contracting of Consultants financed by the Inter-American Development Bank GN-2350-15<\/em> <\/a>and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the policies.<\/p><p>Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a sub-consultancy to enhance their qualifications.
